The red, orange, and yellow colors in fall foliage are actually there all year, just under the surface. Sunlight helps fuel plant cells containing a chemical called chlorophyll, which gives leaves its vivid green color while working to turn light into energy. When sunlight diminishes in fall, chlorophyll breaks down, letting the plant’s hidden red, yellow, and orange hues shine.

Baby Cafés are licensed sites run by trained staff that provide a high-quality standard of care for breastfeeding families. Please join us every Tuesday, starting October 1^st, from 10am-noon, at the Sarpy/Cass Health Department for pregnancy and breastfeeding support. The Memory Lane Museum in Weeping Water has a new schedule as follows:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, 11:30 am till 3 pm.

This year will feature Kevin Brack's personal exhibit,
SALUTE to the OSCARS' 90th ANNIVERSARY!

Stop in to see costumes, props and scripts from Oscar winners!
Anthony Hopkins' suit from the movie 'Nixon' will also be on display!

Area Food Banks

The Louisville Area Food Bank will be open on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 6-7 p.m. The food bank is located in the First Christian Church 304 Main St. next to Copple's in Louisville. Low income residents are welcome to come to the twice a month give away. Please bring a box to put items in. This food bank is for residents of the Louisville Public School District.

Questions contact Pastor Cathy at 402-677-9606 or Pastor Bob at 402-234-2055. The Louisville Area Food Bank is always looking for donations of food as well.

Cornhusker Country Music Theater!

We now have a DANCE FLOOR right in front of the stage!
Put on your dancing shoes and come on over for a good time! If you don't want to dance, you can still enjoy the live music!

For those of you who aspire to write a great song, we'll be hosting a songwriter's clinic. So put on your thinking caps and bring your best ideas and join us. Who knows? Maybe together we'll be writing the next big hit that will be played world-wide!
