As of August 13, 1994, the Guinness World Record for the largest pancake is 49 ft 3 in (15.01 m) in diameter and 1 in (2.5 cm) deep, weighing 3 tonnes. The Co-operative Union Ltd. in Manchester, England, created the pancake in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, and needed to use a crane to flip it.
